The really big news is that the photography for our new website has been completed. Having seen his work elsewhere, I hired Ken Posney aka Poz Photography. He has done a myriad of terrific work here on Kauai and one of his specialties is real estate  photography. That work usually involves photographing homes for realtors, however he really rose to the challenge of taking pictures of all seven of our units plus exterior shots. He had to work around our occupancy schedule, often times coming back two or three times to get just the "right" photo. He also came at sunrise and at sunset to take full advantage of the special light during those times of days.
The results are spectacular! He has really captured what I think is the essence of Hideaway, which was really lacking in our "homemade" photos from seven years ago. We have continued to upgrade and are truly upscale, however you wouldn't know it from our photos. So hopefully, with these new shots, we won't have as many people saying "Wow, it's much nicer than we expected". Now we hope they say "Wow, this is just what we expected".

Those of you who have stayed with us will no doubt recognize some of the locations. Many of the photos are so artfully done, that I wasn't even sure where Ken shot them. In one case I asked where the gorgeous flower shot came from and he said "Right here at Hideaway". Go figure.
Needless to say I'm delighted with the results. It represents two and a half months of hard work and has really been worth it. I can't wait until we have the slide show, set to Hawaiian music, up on the website. Kudos to Ken Posney. If you ever need any photography done on Kauai, he is the one to see!
